About
Offline Arcade started as a group chat between a few friends who kept recommending games to each other during commutes with no reception. We got tired of downloading something promising only to hit a loading wall the second the subway tunnel swallowed our signal. So we made a rule: if a game needs the internet to function, it doesn't belong here.,Every game on the site is installed, played for several hours, and discussed before it gets a review. We don't run press builds or trust trailers. If a title falls apart after the first couple of levels, we say so plainly instead of padding the piece.,We lean toward variety. One week it's a slow city-builder, the next it's a twitchy arcade racer or a story-heavy RPG. Puzzle fans, strategy nerds, and people who just want something relaxing before bed should all find something worth tapping on.,The project is small and self-funded. Nobody pays us to feature a game, and we'd rather keep it that way even if it means slower updates.
